Equality and diversity
Citizens Advice Darlington is committed to being accessible to all members of the community. We are financially supported by Darlington Borough Council in respect of our core service, and actively seek funding to extend our work into the wider community. In this, we work to support the Darlington Partnership’s Sustainable Community Strategy, and focus on those areas, individuals and groups identified as being the most vulnerable.
The bureau provides specialist services in respect of debt and welfare benefits. We deliver advice sessions at various locations throughout the borough, as well as the bureau in Bennet House. In addition we offer Home Visits for older people, and operate a Telephone Advice Line for others who may be unable to access main or outreach venues.
