Citizens Advice Darlington (CAD) is a charity created to serve the local community, providing advice, information and training on all civil legal enquiry areas.
We deal with over 24,000 legal enquiries a year across the Borough, supporting residents with £8 million of debt and bringing into the local economy over £4.2 million in unclaimed benefit entitlement.
In order to ensure we continue to deliver the very best strategic and operational results, we are seeking to expand our Trustee Board composition by recruiting Board Members with skills/interests in:
• Health & Wellbeing
• Marketing & Media
• Business Development
The post of Trustee is unpaid but will provide you with a great deal of experience and satisfaction. All reasonable expenses are reimbursed and training is provided.
CAD Trustee Board needs people from all sections of the community with a wide range of different skills, experience and perspectives. The Board tends to meet early evenings, making this a flexible role, which Trustees often fit around a full-time job. A full induction into the Trustee Board’s role and responsibilities will be provided.
